Duties to include:
Constructs and assembles machinery and equipment, including interior brick work, in industrial furnaces by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Follows diagrams, blueprints and/or schematics
Works as member of assembly group assembling various parts to order and working at different work stations as production needs require or shifts from one station to another.
Lays out work to calculate angles and courses for building walls, arches, columns, corners, and bottoms.
Cuts brick to size and spreads fire-clay mortar over brick with trowel and lays brick in place.
Spreads or sprays refractories over exposed bricks to protect bricks against deterioration by heat.
Mounts components such as doors, motors, heaters, blowers, fans, and coils to weldment according to blueprints.
Inspects unit prior to release to test.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:  
High school diploma/GED required
Certification from a trade or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical requirements:
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Hours:  Monday-Friday; 6am-4:30pm with OT as required (hours may vary)

Wage:  $15 - $18 - DOE
