Heavy Assembly with Welding and Fabrication - AFSQ1

This position is responsible for assembling heavy equipment.  Duties as assigned, including:  read blueprints, diagrams and/or schematic and job orders; follows diagrams, blueprints and/or schematics, assembling various pieces and working at different work stations as production needs require or shifts from one station to another; able to work in all phases of production.  Fabrication expertise, including operating machines such as a shear, press brake, plate & angle rolls and plasma cutter, and the ability to prepare steel components, assemble and weld pieces with all welding techniques (including gas, MIG, TIG and stick).   Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications.

Education and/or Experience: Certification from a trade or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Forklift license preferred.  Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

6:00am - 3:30pm;  Monday-Friday w/possible OT
(hours may vary)
