Job Title: Billing Specialist
Job Summary:
Do you pride yourself on your fast and accurate typing skills? Are you highly confident working in a very fast paced environment? This job could be the one you've been looking for!  A client in Kentwood is looking for a highly detailed Billing Specialist to handle customer service, data entry, and confirming freight orders. Prior experience in the logistics field is not required, but could be beneficial. Someone with experience in a very fast paced office environment and handling multiple orders at once would excel in this position. The working hours could be set as 7:30-4:00pm, or 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. This is a temp to hire opportunity that starts at $14.00 an hour.

Responsibilities:
*Requesting documents
*Data Entry
*Switchboard/Receptionist
*Distributing mail and packages

Required Skills/Qualifications:
*1 year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months of related experience
*Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, correspondence and information
*Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
*Knowledge of Windows-based applications, spreadsheet software, and accounting software

Job Requirements:
*Ability to apply common sense understanding
*Ability to communicate effectively
*Frequent sitting and occasional standing
*Excellent keyboarding skills
*High attention to detail
