We are seeking an Apartment Maintenance Tech in Kalamazoo, MI. This is a full time position, work hours are Monday - Friday with On Call.

Required Skills:
*HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical
*Appliance repair, air conditioning and furnace maintenance
*Landscaping and snow plowing
*Roof maintenance and repair

Essential Duties:
*Assist in preparing vacant apartments to market ready condition
*Respond to resident's requests and work orders
*Report maintenance concerns on vacant properties or common areas to Property Manger
*Assist Property Manager on special projects and budget requirements on expenses
*Maintains a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and general public
*Responsible for proper use of maintenance materials, equipment and motorized vehicles
*Perform other duties assigned

Education and Work Experience:
*At least three years of maintenance experience in a residential property setting
*Exposure and training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting

Licenses, Certifications and Tools:
*Candidates must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
*Current vehicle registration and insurance
*Must supply own tools
