Williamson Employment Services is looking for a Progressive/Transfer Press Operator for the Niles, MI area.

    * Schedule: 1st Shift: 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday, some mandatory weekends. Hours may vary, over-time as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Setup, operation and troubleshooting of Progressive/Transfer Press operations.
2. Responsible for setting dies in an appropriate time period.  
3. Responsible to run other types of production equipment (i.e. fork truck/overhead crane).
4. Load and unload parts
5. Read and understand work instructions
6. Wear appropriate PPE
7. Handle/lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
8. Perform product quality checks in accordance with work instructions
9. Package parts per specifications
10. Read and understand measurement devices

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must have working knowledge of quality inspection gauges and measurement tools.
2. Must be able to accurately complete all documentation
3. Forklift experience is a plus

Physical requirements:
The factory is a fast paced environment. Employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects when needed and do repetitive tasks. May lift 50 lbs. with overhead reaching and bending over.
