Williamson Employment Services is looking for a CNC Programmer in the Niles, MI area.

    * Schedule: Monday-Friday; 1st Shift 5am-3pm, some mandatory weekends. Hours may vary, over-time as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Load parts into and unload parts from the CNC machines
2. Operate CNC machines to run production
3. Deburr parts when necessary
4. Perform quality checks per requirements
5. Package parts
6. Perform material handling functions
7. Read and understand work instructions
8. Wear appropriate PPE.
9. Handle/lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
10. Utilize hand tools to make minor adjustments to parts
11. Read and understand measurement devices
12. Perform other associated job duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must be able to use small hand-held tools, grinders, sanders, etc.  
2. Must be able to accurately complete all production system documentation
3. Forklift experience is a plus
4. Ability to read calipers, digital micrometers and indicators is a plus, but is not required.  

Physical requirements:
The factory is a fast paced environment. Employees are required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects when needed and do repetitive tasks. May lift 50 lbs. with overhead reaching and bending over.
